just a fractal i spent last night on, not much was changed in PS, i did crop, but i'll put the uncropped one up because its perfect wallpaper size.
So, if you want it as a wallpaper, tell me what resolution you prefer.
if not, can you please give me some criticism, i would love to do something really really cool with this piece.
oh annnnnd....a border? wasnt too sure how to do it.

the spiral bit in the middle/bottomish area reminds me of a sea horse

awesome! i love fractals but have no idea how to do them. you make make a border for it in PS by copying the background layer(the picture) and deleating the extra so you only have one unlocked layer with the picture. then add another layer underneath filling it with the border color. then free transform (ctrl T) to shrink the picture layer so you can see the border

oh no i didnt mean i dont know how to make a border, i meant, what type of border should i make, but that is a very interesting tecnique. personally, i use the "stroke" tool on a new layer. and i barely ever leave a layer locked.
